SUPPORT
A clear path to help.
Tell us what happened. Keep your recovery material private.
What to include
Describe what you were trying to do, what happened and when, including your timezone. Please include:
• WPBackups plugin version, WordPress version and PHP version.
• The displayed error code or a short, redacted error message.
• Whether the issue concerns local backup, Cloud upload, listing or recovery preparation.
• Safe steps to reproduce the issue.
• Your non-secret site ID only if needed, in a private support message. Never post it publicly.
Never send your secrets
Never send a recovery key, site secret, database password, storage credentials or recovery seeds, private keys, authentication headers, signed transfer URLs, credential-bearing configuration files or backup contents. Redact screenshots and log excerpts. Do not send a complete unreviewed manifest or log dump.
Recovery guidance
Recovery requires a qualified dedicated Linux/systemd host, a privileged administrator, locally prepared backup objects and the offline recovery runner. Browser restore is disabled. A Cloud restore-point listing alone does not establish that a restore can run.
Before recovery, verify the selected completed restore point and local staged objects, confirm host prerequisites, and follow the release recovery requirements with a reviewed host-specific runbook. Public recovery documentation will accompany the release; no one-click recovery flow is available here.
If recovery fails, preserve private recovery evidence on your host. Involve your host administrator before reactivating services or deleting staging material. Do not attach that evidence to an ordinary support message.

Privacy or site-closure questions
Write to privacy@wpbackups.com. Uninstalling the plugin does not delete Cloud backups or site registration. No fixed response or deletion deadline is promised here.
